The Perfect Everyday Jean feat. Lane Bryant
I am a summer girl through and through. I LIVE for summer days, balmy evenings under the stars and all things sun and sand. But, my soul sings for fall fashion. So while I know I know its too damn hot for denim right now, ya'll need to listen up. Because I have the scoop on some new arrivals from my friends at Lane Bryant including some AMAZING new denim that are a #megmusthave for sure!
When I tried these new super stretch skinny jeans from Lane Bryant, I couldn't help but have a moment of appreciation....
Here's the thing, plus fashion is always under scrutiny. "There aren't enough options" "We don't have this or that" "This designer doens't do this". And yes, I agree. The industry as a whole, fashion and plus fashion, has a way to go in terms of inclusivity, diversity etc etc. BUT, we have to take the time to stop and appreciate the brands that ARE doing what they can to add more, do more, create more. A shout out to the Lane Bryant crew for working hard to add more fashion options with tons of trend influencer and fit technology (coolmax, super stretch, power pockets etc.) that everyone can appreciate!!!!
My day to day is constantly changing, so finding a great pair of jeans that can take me from day to night, work to an event and beyond is important. Honestly, as I get older my wardrobe is becoming more refined with items that are versatile, wearable, comfortable and can easily transition through the business of my life/schedule!

And these jeans covered all bases!!!!
So much so that I rocked them as a day look (for a fun brunch w/ friends) AND to a work meeting where I needed to button up a bit ;)
Also, I'd be remiss not to mention my other obsession...
The Bryant Blazer has been a go to for me since they launched it, and with each new release or fashion re-work I always end up snagging one. I am OBSESSED with the fit and how easy to is to throw on this blazer and immediately look chic and polished. There is just something about a suited piece that elevates a denim ensemble.
My other current must have from LB? ANY of the ankle strap heels. Literally, ANY. I am wearing the tall ankle strap and they are so comfortable. The real standout feature? The velcro straps - it makes it so easy to put on/take off. IDK about guys but I can never get my shoes strapped on myself! These take the difficulty out of it!
So here's the moral of the story:
Summer is in full sing, enjoy yourself. Head to the beach! Have a blast....
But be sure you snag some new arrivals from Lane Bryant before you do it!!
